This is a unique
little turntable in many ways. It's clever and stylish design make it
the perfect little portable that has many applications. Total
dimensions of its sturdy cabinet are 12"x12"'x4", and there is a nifty
handle in the back. The shipping box itself has a handle and is easy to
pack and unpack the turntable if you want to store or transport it that
way. It can be battery operated with 6 D cells, or powered by the AC
adapter which is included.
Tonearm is manual -
platter begins turning when tonearm is picked up and moved over toward
record. Unit has a built in monitor speaker which provides a
surprisingly rich, full sound. Two different headphone jacks (1/4" and
1/8") are provided as well as RCA line/level jacks which allows unit to
be connected to your receiver/amp. These line/level output jacks can
also be connected directly to your computer's sound card (no additional
preamp needed) for burning your albums to cd.
Think of the convenience
of this little player! Tote it around with you when shopping for albums
at yard sales or your favorite used record shop. This way you can
listen to them before you buy them to determine their condition. It
would also be really convenient to pull this unit out at a party or get
together with your friends. The novelty factor of this little baby is
